and aligned with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention.
We also cooperate with the Itasca Ministerial Alliance.
Baptist Faith & Message 2000
The latest Baptist Faith and Message (BFM), approved in 2000, represents the general consensus of Southern Baptists belief. Based on prayerful Biblical Scholarship, the BFM is not meant to dictate to individual conscience what he or she should believe. Every church is autonomous, every person is free in his or her conscience, but this represents generally what Southern Baptists believe. The BFM will guide Central Baptist Church’s faith and practice.
